HDR + Semi-Macro

My friend requested this. Sure wouldn't hurt if I place it here.

Open Arms

Let me welcome you to the world of the mundane, inspired by the Fibonacci pattern.

Freeze It

What if people could see in HDR?

Extended Sunset

Tried catching the sunset in panorama. This was the result using my bridge camera.

Ride with Me

I wonder how much is the fare for this one?

Pair It Up

Would anybody know what's the name of these flowers?

Awooo!

Even the moon has pimples and all. So don't worry about yours. :-)

Unwind

Is yours running out as well? This century old clock was taken at Casa de Segunda in Lipa City, Batangas.

Onward to the Unknown

One of these days I'm gonna ride this kind of boat. Photo taken at Lumampao, Cuenca, Batangas.

Standing Proud

I don't know if this cassowary (did I spell it right?) knows it's being photographed. It just stood there almost motionless for more than fifteen minutes.

Snobbish

Watcha Lookin' At?

An ostrich from Blue Roze Park at Lipa City, Batangas

Catch Me If You Can

Is this a gecko? I'm not really that good in remembering animal names.

Sauron?

My cat's eye. Had a practice then with effective aperture setting at different focal lengths.

Overtime

A Fruitfly at night. Even insects, apparently go on overtime.

Innocence

With all the stress we face everyday, just looking at this piece whisks it away for me.

Taken at a lake-turned-semi-tourist-attraction area in my hometown.

Crimson Dusk

My girlfriend took me to one of the nice places in her town. A public viewing deck overlooking Taal Lake, the place is also good for deep "sunless" sunsets.

Take a Dip, Not a Dive

Shot as well in UPLB's Botanic Gardens.

Drink Up

Just tried to do an HDR shot of my brother drinking a locally produced brandy.

Woman by the Window

This was taken a year ago at Casa de Segunda Ancestral House in Lipa City, Batangas. Quite a nice piece of historical landmark situated among the busy streets of the city's business establishments. It's sort of sad that the place has no distinct banner or advertisement for tourists or passers-by to notice it.

If my facts are straight, this is where Segunda Katigbak, the Philippines' national hero's ill-fated lover grew up.

Upon entry, you would be greeted by an old fountain with a sort of fish pond around it. The house has this eerie feel (well, all ancestral homes do for that matter) that you can't help but get goosebumps.

The Tourists

Taking a peek at what's to expect. Shot taken at UPLB Botanic Garden, Philippines.

Let's Pause Awhile

Took my girlfriend for a bike ride. It was really fun and I had to make sure I snap a memory of it.

Dog Day Afternoon

Just a dramatic pose of a dog chained to a post at the second level of my previous apartment.

Hello World

Here's another one for the macro lovers out there.

Just a common house ant.

Mug Shot

Time for a little macro shot. Not for the fidgety.

More Than Meets the Eye

Funny how a seemingly dull spot can change when you look through the lens using a different perspective.

What's Lurking Beneath

My initial couple of shots in HDR. Still had that dream of touring the world just shooting pictures and sharing them to a global audience.

Rust in Peace

Had the usual walk with my brother and chanced upon the opportunity to play with nature's colors.

What's Up

I really am astounded by the innocence of children.

Photo taken using a telephoto lens. Apologies for some visible camera shake.

I am still in the process of learning the crafts of unstaged HDR shots.

The Ghosts of Yesterday

Photo taken after a recent swimming activity with relatives.

This shot kinda reminds me of the time when life was simple. I hope I develop the courage to ask people head on if I can make them my models.
